Heart Broken!

So it is no secret the Cubs haven't been that great this season. However, the loyal Cubs fan that I am still stood by them loss after loss. However, this week they decided to trade my all time favorite Cubbie, Derrek Lee. I am so mad at the cubs.

I understand they are doing what is best for the "team" but what about their loyal fan that stood by them all season? Lee was traded to the Atlanta Braves. Do I dare become a Braves fan? I think my husband would disown me if I did.

Once again today, I have the cubs game on while working and guess who they are playing. THE BRAVES! Who do I cheer for? Brent informed me I could be a Derrek Lee fan but NOT a Braves fan. I'm torn on what to do!!

First base will never be the same for the cubs!

Chicken Enchiladas

I thought I would share the recipe that I made for supper tonight! Super Easy! Enjoy!

Chicken Enchiladas
2 cans cream of chicken soup
8oz. Sour Cream
1 can diced green chiles
8 oz. Shredded Cheddar Cheese
8oz. Monterrey Jack Cheese
3 chicken breast (boneless/skinless?
1 package soft tortilla shells

Combine Soup, sour cream, Chiles, 4oz. of Cheddar and 4oz. of Monterrey jack cheese in a bowl. Stir until well mixed together. Divide into 2 equal bowls.

Broil Chicken for 20 minutes and dice up. (I use the George formen)Add diced Chicken to one of the 2 bowls.

Use Chicken mix to fill tortilla shells. Roll and place seam down in greased 9x13 pan. Use other bowl to top tortillas. Spread other 4oz. of cheddar and Monterrey Jack cheese over mix.

Bake covered for 15 minutes, then uncover and bake for 15-30 minutes or until cheese is melted. Enjoy!

The Joys of a Puppy

Wrigley is now 3 months old, and we've had him for 4 weeks. When we first got Wrigley he weighed about 6lbs. We had to take him to the vet last week for a quick check up and they offered to weigh him. Wrigley is 25lbs. I can't believe he is so big. I know he is going to get any where from 80-90lbs. Oh boy! The funny thing is he still loves to come sit on your lap. Not much longer and that will be very difficult.

There isn't a lot of news going on around our house. We both have been staying busy with work, and I have a "few" projects going. I will show pictures of those when they are completed. I have a goal to finish all of them by the end of the week.

This coming weekend my grandparents on the Rosien side are coming over to see our new home and to meet Wrigley!

This is one of the few times Wrigley gets to come inside. He used to come inside and just sleep. Not so much anymore!

This is Wrigley in Brent's arms. He loves to cuddle, I think he forgets how big he is himself sometimes.

This picture is Wrigley's new talent. He has chewed and scratched our siding by the kitchen door. He can hear us when we are in the kitchen and he wants in. I however, can't hear him scrathing or chewing on this. We were told by a friend that they used hot sauce on the areas of their house that their lab was chewing. I think it has worked so far.

This video is priceless. Back when I was starting my garden Coleen (my mother in law) told me I needed to cover my plants with things so the deer and other animals would stay our of them. I used ice cream buckets for some of the plants. When they got big enough to be uncovered I stored the buckets in the garage.

Well, Wrigley is outside all day and has to entertain himself sometime. I saw he was playing with one of the buckets but I didn't mind becuase he wasn't going to hurt it.

This is what Brent and I came outside to find. Guess he won't be playing with that anymore! :)
